My top moisturizers for Dry, Dehydrated and Sensitive skin

Dry sensitive skin by its nature is hypersensitive and therefore requires special care. If you have extremely dry and uncomfortable skin, it is best to talk to a Dermatologist and see if you have Eczema. Whatever skin type you may have, gentle and effective skincare routine can help tackle most problems. Hydration is the key for any skincare routine. Dry, Dehydrated and sensitive skin may require an extra dose of hydration and sometimes specially formulated products that cater to this specific skin type. Here in this article, I am sharing my top favourite moisturisers that work wonders for dehydrated and sensitive skin.

Algenist Absolute Hydration Replenishing Gel Moisturizer – This moisturizer dramatically boosts skin’s hydration levels. This anti-ageing treatment gets absorbed into the skin quickly and ensures complexion is comfortable and radiant. Algenist Absolute Hydration Replenishing Sleeping Pack – Though we are talking about moisturisers here, consider this as an intensive moisturiser that works as an overnight treatment mask for parched skin. Aveeno cream – My dermatologist prescribed me this cream when dry patches started developing on my face during first trimester of pregnancy. This cream however, is available without prescription too. This is formulated with Colloidal Oatmeal to actively moisturise dry and sensitive skin. Regular use helps prevent dryness and irritation caused by skin dehydration. This is also suitable for anyone with Eczema.

Pixi Rose Ceramide Cream  – This is a new offering from Pixi beauty. Cerave Moisturizing Cream – Ceramides work so well for dry and sensitive skin and this Moisturising Cream from Cerave has 3 essential ceramides and hyaluronic acid. It is a fragrance-free formula and moisturises as well as helps restore the protective skin barrier of face and body. Its a family favourite here and I use it on my son’s face and body too. I have been using it since last year and already on 2nd tub. This cream is great for Eczema skin too and I can’t tell you how much it helped my son throughout the winters. He doesn’t have eczema but dry skin condition runs in the family so I need to take extra care of his skin.

La Roche Posay Toleraine Ultra Fluid – If you have super sensitive skin, La Roche Posay’s Toleraine Ultra Fluid may be a saviour for you. This moisturiser works to soothe, hydrate and restore long-lasting comfort to sensitive skin.
