Honestly smokey palettes are not my first choice when it comes to eyeshadow picks but seeing this stunner, I will have to accept that I’m converted! If there’s any smokey look you’d want to create, New Cid Cosmetics’ Smokey Classics palette has got you covered. I am really impressed with the shade selection here and the ease of use for beginners.
On to the specifics now –
Packaging
The palette comes in a simple yet chic cardboard packaging with a sleeve. There is a mirror along with some basic eye guide printed on the palette. The shade names as well as purpose are printed on the palette which I appreciate as any extra leaflet or plastic is generally lost. The palette comes with double ended eyeshadow brush.
Shades
The shade selection is seriously everything! There are soft lighter shades to deeper selection for day to night look. The palette consists of three matte and seven shimmer shade in warm, cool and neutral tones. The shade names are inspired by Universe.
Formula & Pigmentation
The pigmentation is great for all the shades and the formula is just so smooth and buttery. The eyeshadows blend like a dream effortlessly.
Performance
The eyeshadows do not crease on me and have great staying power. I do not use these with a primer but if you want you can.
Overall Thoughts
I would really like to congratulate the team to get some of the best shades and finest formula for this palette. From shades, pigmentation to formula- everything is just top notch! I do not think there would be anyone who won’t like this palette. This is THE SMOKEY PALETTE!
