Clarins Blue Orchid Face Treatment Oil Review

Clarins Blue Orchid Treatment Oil review

If you have been with me through my skincare journey, you would know that I have Combination to dry skin which can get pretty dehydrated sometimes. My T-zone is more towards oily and cheeks are dry. There are times when my skin feels quite dehydrated. Clarins Blue Orchid Face Treatment Oil which is targeted for Dehydrated skin has been on my wishlist for so long.

Effects: This is a targeted treatment for dehydrated skin that tones, revitalizes and restores radiance to moisture-depleted skin.

The re-balancing moisturizer for dry skin nourishes and revitalizes dehydrated skin, and leaves it feeling satin soft.

Essential Oils are acknowledged as the most powerful natural ingredients available, delivering fragrance and skincare benefits inspired by the principles of aromatherapy and phytotherapy, combining plant extracts and essential oils to help balance the skin.

• reduces the signs of aging on mature dehydrated skin

• rejuvenates the skin

• easily penetrates into the lower skin layers

• hydrates, nourishes and brightens

• instantly refines the skin texture

Ingredients: This oil is made from 100% pure plant extracts and contains extracts of Rosewood, Patchouli and Blue Orchid. The oil also contains Hazelnut extract rich in anti-free radical Vitamin E that helps prevent moisture loss and the formation of fine lines. The oil contains absolutely no preservatives or synthetic fragrance.

Who can use this? This oil is suitable for normal, dry or combination skin.

How to use? For use in the evening on its own or before regular evening skin care. Apply to thoroughly cleansed skin still dampened with a toning lotion. Warm a few drops of Blue Orchid Oil in the palms of the hands and apply with the gentle press-and-release movements. Work down towards the neck and decollete. Avoid the eye contour area.

The Blue Orchid Treatment oil retails for £30.70 for 30 ml and can be purchased from Notino. The oil is made in France. If you are looking for oil targeted specifically for Dry or Oily skin, you may check here.

Overall thoughts: My skin feels rejuvenated with this oil. The oil has thin consistency so it easily penetrates into lower layers of the skin and doesn’t just sit on top of my skin. It smells amazing (just like spa products) and helps me have a good night sleep too. My skin feels plump and well hydrated when i use this oil. It can also be mixed with a moisturizer or can be used alone. A little goes a long way.

Have you tried Clarins skin care products specially their Face Oils yet? Which face oils do you recommend for my skin type? Let me know in the comments below.

Until next time..
