The Sky in a Palette: Exploring SUQQU’s Magic Hour Summer 2026 Collection

SUQQU’s Magic Hour Summer 2026 Collection

There is a specific, fleeting silence that happens during the “Magic Hour”—those precious minutes just before the sun breaks the horizon or right after it dips below. It’s a time when the sky isn’t just one colour but a shifting canvas of coral, lavender, and gold.

SUQQU’s Summer 2026 Collection has managed to bottle that exact transition. Inspired by the way nature reveals a quiet, unfolding beauty under diffused light, this range is a tribute to the sky’s most breathtaking expressions.

I’ve been spending some time with two standout pieces from the range, although I do want to get my hands on the newest lipsticks too. If you’re a fan of ethereal, light-shifting textures, you’re going to want to mark your calendars.

The Eyes: Signature Color Eyes

The Signature Color Eyes palettes (£50) are designed to lay the shifting glow of dusk and dawn onto the lids. These palettes use polarized pearls that change hue depending on the angle of light, mirroring the way colors shift with every blink.

155 FUJIFUTAAI (Coral x Purple) This limited-edition harmony evokes the romantic, mysterious moments just before dawn. It features a soft coral that provides a gentle, healthy flush, paired with a sophisticated purple infused with blue-to-pink polarized pearls. I tried this one and on the eyes, the transition is dreamlike—warmth meeting a hazy, cool-toned depth.

154 KUREAI (Beige x Gold) A dusk-inspired palette featuring a dewy beige for a fresh, wet-look shine and a glamorous gold shot through with orange-to-green polarised pearls.

The Cheeks: Blurring Color Blush

The Blurring Color Blush (£40) captures that wistful transition between dusk and night. These are designed with a delicate gradation to tint the cheeks with a natural, ethereal finish.

117 AWAYOIAOI (Pink x Lavender) This is a “glow from within” in a compact. It pairs a pure pink to draw out a tender expression with a lavender highlight that adds incredible luminosity and clarity to the skin. It’s the perfect way to neutralise dullness while adding a soft, lit-from-within flush. I absolutely adore this one on me.

116 AIZORA (Coral x Light Beige) A complexion-enhancing coral paired with a light beige highlight. It creates the effect of softly warmed cheeks, as if you’ve been standing in the gentle glow of a sunset.

Completing the Look: Lips & Texture

To round out the “Magic Hour” look, the collection includes two limited-edition Moisture Glaze Lipsticks (£36 set / £30 refill). These feature a unique marble design to reflect the flickering, shifting light of a sky fading into the dark.

112 YOIUTSUSHI (Brown Beige): A white and brown-beige marble that creates a refined, intelligent elegance with subtle gold pearls

113 KOUAKANE (Berry Pink): A blend of berry-red and pink marble that balances sweetness with a graceful, red-pearl flush

The Verdict

The Magic Hour collection feels like a return to what SUQQU does best: capturing the nuances of nature through sophisticated, wearable artistry. These aren’t just “summer colors”; they are atmospheric tones that feel incredibly refined.
