Suqqu Beauty is launching Pre-Holiday 2020 Colour Collection on Oct 1st and this collection is actually giving me Festive Holiday vibes. If you have been a regular reader of this blog, you would know I absolutely adore Suqqu Colour Collections. Their colour palettes for each collection is very carefully chosen and the formulations are absolutely beautiful! This collection will help you achieve a variety of party-ready looks this festive season.
Inspiration behind this collection
The collection is inspired by the Japanese expression, ryourakinshu, which refers to elegant clothing. It draws inspiration from Eastern elements such as silk, pearls gold, and exotic color combinations to create these exquisite shade combinations.
SUQQU Designing Color Eyes, £46
Designing Color Eyes is a popular eyeshadow quad range from the brand and two new palettes join this range this season. The new shades are perfect to create a variety of party-ready looks during the holidays.
135 HIKARETSUTSUMI (Cayenne Red and Dark Purple) – A stunning combination of warm shades, with a striking cayenne red and dark purple for a dramatic eye look. This look is fabulous for a fun finish.
136 KOIAMI (Bright Pink and Soft Brown) – A more feminine eyeshadow palette with softer tones. The warm and bright pinks work with the soft brown to create a subtle yet sophisticated party look.
I love the colour selection for these palettes. Both palettes have beautiful tones that complement each other. The shades from both the palettes can be used individually or mixed together for a completely new custom look. The texture of the eye shadows in these quads is so buttery and they blend like a dream. The pigment is impressive and the staying power is fab too. I do not need to use any eye primer with these. I am happy to report these eye shadows are worth every penny.
SUQQU Comfort Lip Fluid Fog, £33
Lip Fog was launched in the Autumn-Winter 2020 Collection. Two new shades join the Comfort Lip Fluid from SUQQU. These liquid lipsticks are made with a high viscosity oil for a smooth and even application. Once the oil dries, it leaves a beautiful, lightweight film on the lips. The Comfort Lip Fluid Fog gives a gentle glow with a light matte finish.
102 MOMODOME (Dusty Pink) – This is an elegant pink-beige shade that softly enhances the complexion. 102 MOMODOME is ‘my lips but better’ kind of shade for my medium olive complexion.
103 SHUUKA (Light Plum) – This is a sophisticated nude pink with blue undertones that creates a chic, modern look.
SUQQU Powder Blush Compact 102, £58 (Selfridges Exclusive)
This blush compact comes with three blush shades that suit a variety of skin tones and three highlight shades to define the cheekbones. Each shade can be layered with others for a deep, multi-dimensional color.
- Tangerine Orange (blush)
- Dazzle Gold (highlight)
- Cloudy Pink (blush)
- Light Bronze (highlight)
- Frosty Red (blush)
- Pink Gold (highlight)
I love that the powders in this blush palette are very buttery. They are build-able shades which means you will get enough pigment that’s required for your face but can also be built on the intensity as per your liking. The highlighters are also finely milled and do not look chunky on the skin. Both blushes and highlighters from this palette are gorgeous for any skin tone whether your complexion is light, dark, or somewhere in the middle.
SUQQU’s Limited Edition 2020 Pre-Holiday Collection is available from 1st October 2020 at Selfridges and Selfridges.com, and from 15th October 2020 at Harrods, Harrods.com and Liberty online.
SUQQU has proved from time to time that its Holiday collections are not just about glam but it is also about sophistication and elegance. The collection is likely to sell out quickly so make sure you get your hands on it if you fancy any pieces.
Until next time, Ashh xo
