Glossybox April Box

This month Glossybox is taking us back – yes all things Nostalgia taking inspiration from past generations but with a fresh twist and look. Its all about best of beauty styles from past decades this month.

For those who do not know, Glossybox is a £10 monthly subscription service with which you get 5 or 6 different beauty products nicely wrapped in a beautiful box at your doorstep each month.

Glossybox April Box

The highlight of the box is Karl Lagerfeld x Model Co Baked Blush | RRP (Glossybox early exclusive) and I got the shade Light Beige. This is Glossybox early exclusive product (yes, we’re the lucky Glossies to get our hands on it first!). From the bold 80’s blush look to today’s natural No Makeup Makeup Look, there has been a huge transition. I love that today’s makeup look is more youthful and fresh. This incredible baked blush brightens and highlights every complexion to give a youthful glow that lasts all day.

This month Glossybox has a limited edition Angled brush | £5.50 and yes, it has a signature pink handle too. This brush is ideal for lips, eyes or brows. The brush has smooth yet firm bristles for perfect control and creating any timeless look.

If you’re still hung to Banana powder, move it over baby! We have Rice Powder aka Affect Cosmetics Matt Effect Transparent Loose Rice Powder | £9.35 in the town which is a combination of mica and rice starch and gives a perfect matte finish. This is a perfect makeup setter and is much required in upcoming warm weather. The powder absorbs oils instantly and sets foundation and lipstick without any ‘cakey’ look. Just press the powder on to your skin while the foundation is still wet with a flat shaped brush or powder puff.

Big Bold Cat eyes have been a thing since past so many decades and we have so many superstar icons who have been known for their heavy bold liner looks. This month Glossybox also sent smudge-proof Eyeko London Fat Liquid Eyeliner | £16 so we can recreate all those winged liner looks.

This is not it, there is also something for Unicorn and Marshmallow lovers! There is a limited edition bodywash – Imperial Leather Unicorn Marshmallow Foamburst | £3.15 to make us feel on top of a rainbow – Magical! The gel changes into creamy cloud that glides across the skin like silk, making your skin magically soft and sparkly clean. What could any beauty lover ask for!

You can join over 1 million Glossies and subscribe for Glossybox Beauty Box here. They are offering 20% off their special edition box using code ‘GLOSSY’! This will discount 20% off one month subscription.

Until next time
