Charlotte Tilbury Scent of a Dream Fragrance on Ms Tantrum Blog
Charlotte Tilbury – Scent of a Dream Fragrance

My Fragrance gift guide would be incomplete if I do not include the dreamiest fragrance in the town! Charlotte Tilbury’s – Scent of a Dream is one-of-a-kind ‘floral chypre’ perfume harmony that ignites a mind-altering fleurotic frequency. This fragrance features a blend of Joy top notes including Lemon, Peach and Black Pepper, Fleurotic heart notes of Jasmine, Frankincense, Tuberose and Violet, plus Magic Molecule base notes of Fire Tree, Iso E Super, Patchouli and Ambroxan.

This fragrance is a powerhouse of what you might be looking in a perfume and attracts love, light, power, positivity & sex to the wearer.

Dear Husband has been loving Ted Baker’s Au – chemical symbol for Gold (RRP £34 currently £29.95) and it comes encased in a sleek, matte jacket that looks absolutely luxurious and chic.

The top notes are bergamot and clove, heart being Jasmine, Gardenia, Cedarwood and Base notes as Musk and Vanilla making it perfect for modern day man who believes the devil is in the detail.

I am enjoying Ted Baker’s Mia (RRP £30 currently £25.95) which exudes a softly romantic blend of lemon, raspberry and blackcurrant with a Base of patchouli and golden Amber. The packaging (pink with rose gold) is so instagram-able too.
These two make undeniably Glamorous gifts for Christmas 🎄.

Roger & Gallet Cologne - The Fantaisie on Ms Tantrum Blog
Roger & Gallet – Extrait de Cologne ‘The Fantaisie’

Another amazing option is Roger & Gallet’s – Extrait de Colognes. There are 5 new variations available this Christmas. My favourite is The Fantaisie (£55 for 100 ml, currently £49.50) which is created by renowned perfumer Alberto Morillas. He drew from his love of citrus to create The Fantaisie.

This Cologne is blended with a comforting mix of musky yet fresh black Tea extract, warm sweet Benjoin Resinoid, Santal Extract, and precious distilled spicy and revitalizing essences of Cardamom Coriander, Clary Sage and Earthy Vetiver. This makes a wonderful Christmas gift too. These are also available in 500 ml for £150 (currently £135).

Leighton Denny Fragrances on Ms Tantrum Blog
Leighton & Denny – The Original & Delightful Fragrances

If you like your fragrances quite strong, you will love Leighton Denny’s Light & Dark Range. I have The Original (RRP £43.50 currently £39) which is a special blend including a fruity mixture of pepper, myrrh and incense, offers a warm welcoming unique fragrance which can be worn day or night. With its heart of gardenia, jasmine, lily and rose, LIGHT & DARK triggers instincts of allure, attraction and desire, merged with top notes of mandarin, grapefruit, peach and white pepper to stimulate confidence and distinctiveness.

The other option from LD is Light & Dark – Delightful (RRP £43.50 currently £39) which has an explosion of red fruits that makes your mouth water from the first hit… With florals and a creamy base, the ah ping, blood orange, watermelon and red apple sit happily alongside delicate traces of jasmine and pink lotus, but there’s still more to come. There is the slightest scent of coconut but don’t assume that you are looking at another “suntan” style fragrance. What you actually get is a hint of coconut mixing beautifully with the musk and staying on your skin when everything else has faded. The vanilla gives a sweetness, but again it’s not at all overpowering.

Which fragrances are you loving at the moment and which ones do you think make great gift options? Let me know in the comments below.

Until next time
