Lights, Love & Scent – Celebrate Diwali in style with Jo Malone’s illuminating gifts for your loved ones. I have fragrances for every mood and season, and I love to switch my fragrances depending upon how I’m feeling that particular day. As much as I love to receive fragrances as gifts, I love to choose fragrant gifts for my loved ones too. This year Jo Malone London has launched a special Diwali theme packaging for this festive season and there are a few scents from their wide range that particularly go very well with this occasion.
Unexpected colognes that are designed to be combined. From enticing Jasmine Sambac & Marigold to spirited Wood Sage & Sea Salt and enchanting Peony & Blush Suede. The gorgeous fragrances that will bring back some memories from India/Home.
I was very kindly invited by Jo Malone London team to celebrate Diwali with them. I had a lovely experience trying different scents and Jasmine Sambac and Marigold Cologne Intense stood out to me most because the first whiff of it took me back to my childhood and transported me to India. Those fresh jasmine and marigold flowers with the early morning dew…Ah just gorgeous!!
Top Note: Marigold
Heart Note: Jasmine Sambac
Base Note: Benzoin Resin.
Serene fields of jasmine sambac. The most precious jasmine of all. Pure white buds plucked at dawn. Fresh with dew. Coveted gems of the colourful Indian flower market. Glowing against vibrant marigold and exotic ylang-ylang. A beautiful contrast of garlands. Entwined with rich benzoin resin. Enveloped by the warmth of vanilla and amber.
Marigolds are big and bright with a fruity, green scent, while Jasmine Sambac is small and white, with a pure orality. As for jasmine, only the freshest, whitest buds were plucked by hand at dawn. The green notes of the marigold flower give a vivid & vibrant opening to the fragrance. Jasmine Sambac – the most precious Jasmine in India adds sophistication and luminosity to the fragrance.
At first whiff, you smell the sharp notes of fresh Mogra, flowery, yet effervescent and green. This is surrounded by a periphery of creamy warmth, like a fresh flower wrapped in cashmere. Jasmine is laced with the warm and sweet notes of vanilla, adding richness to the fragrance. The creamy cloud of this cologne is very refined and versatile. Over the day, the fragrance becomes warmer and richer, until it fades into a powdery softness. This floral scent has a strong projection and impressive longevity.
There are so many scented Bath and Body indulgences to choose as well. Selecting bath and body products from the same fragrance category increases the performance of a particular fragrance due to layering of products from the same range.
The flicker of fragrant Candles to add to the beautiful ambiance of your home. I know so many people like to gift home fragrances as a safe gifting option. I highly recommend checking English Pear & Freesia Candle (also comes in Travel Size).
Top Note: King William Pear.
Heart Note: Freesia.
Base Note: Patchouli.
I love how fresh and warm woody notes are blended together to give an interesting aroma to the home which is very inviting and cozy. It is fresh, juicy, delicate and has a woody warmth too. The candle not only looks beautiful and sophisticated on your dresser but also adds character to any home. This candle has a burn time of 45 hours.
