CeraVe SA Smoothing Range | Now available in the UK

CeraVe SA Smothing Cleanser & Cream

If you have been following my blog or social media for a while, you would know how much I love CeraVe Moisturizing Cream for myself and my family. I use it on both face and body, and it is the go-to moisturizer for my family too. I have Keratosis Pilaris and I have talked about it several times on both blog and social. When I saw CeraVe is bringing America’s loved SA Smoothing Range to the UK, I was super excited to try it!

CeraVe SA Smothing Cleanser & Cream

The SA Smoothing range is for both face and body. I have dry, sensitive skin on the face and find CeraVe Moisturising cream with ceramides work so well for the moisture barrier of my skin. SA Smoothing Cleanser is targetted towards dry, rough and bumpy skin. This Foaming gel cleanser designed to improve skin texture while removing dirt and oil with 3 essential ceramides.

This cleanser helps to alleviate rough and bumpy skin texture, leaving skin feeling smoother. The Salicylic Acid in the formula gently exfoliates the skin, without compromising the skin’s natural barrier. This daily foaming cleanser helps protect the skin’s natural barrier with three essential ceramides and hydrates the skin with Hyaluronic Acid.

CeraVe SA Smothing Cleanser & Cream

Key Features:

  • Suitable for skin prone to Keratosis Pilaris.
  • Gently removes oil, dirt, and makeup.
  • Star ingredients: Salicylic Acid, Hyaluronic Acid.
  • Free of physical exfoliants.
  • Fragrance-free, non-irritating, non-comedogenic.
  • With 3 essential ceramides to protect the skin’s natural barrier.

A 0.5% concentration of Salicylic acid allows the cleansing formula to perform a chemical exfoliation, gently dissolving dead skin and pore-clogging impurities to reveal a smoother surface, without disrupting skin’s microbiome.

A type of lipid, Ceramides are vital, naturally-occurring components of skin, responsible for drawing moisture in and locking irritants out. With age, ceramides deplete, which can lead to a water shortage causing signs of dehydration may lead to dryness and dullness. Like all CeraVe formulations, the lightweight facial wash is powered by an exclusive combination of three scientifically-identified essential ceramides.

CeraVe SA Smothing Cleanser & Cream

CeraVe Smoothing Cream is an intensely moisturizing formula designed to combat a variety of skin concerns, including unwanted bumps, scaliness, and extreme dryness. Replenishing and non-irritating, the rich cream is packed with essential ingredients to benefit both the face and body.

Salicylic Acid and 10% Urea in this cleanser gently exfoliate to remove dead skin cells and soften rough areas of skin, taking care not to disturb the skin’s moisture barrier in the process. Ceramides help to strengthen the barrier of the skin and lock in a layer of moisture to prevent further patches of flaking or dryness. The cream is rich in texture yet non-greasy and avoids leaving behind an unpleasant, sticky residue. Boasting soothing properties and 24-hour hydration, this face and body moisturizer is highly nourishing and can also be applied to psoriasis and eczema-prone skin.

Final Thoughts | I was only planning to use the range on my body and not on the face but I gave these a go on a day when my face looked a bit congested and wow, my skin looked smooth after just 1 use. I feel like using the range even on dry and sensitive skin is safe as long as you don’t over-do it. I will continue to use these on the face every once a while when the skin looks dull and congested. However, I will be using these regularly on the body particularly for my Keratosis Pilaris condition. I recommend checking these out.

Until next time, Ashh xo
