In the world of Japanese beauty, few brands capture the intersection of philosophy and artistry quite like SUQQU. The timeless expression ‘Oubaitouri‘—a concept celebrating the cherry, apricot, peach, and plum—has been popular this season. These four trees bloom side by side in spring, yet each flourishes in its own time and in its own way. The SUQQU Spring 2026 Colour Collection honours that authenticity. It’s not about “fixing” the face; rather, it’s about peaceful self-assurance and the delight of blooming just the way you are.

The Star of the Show: Complexion Face Color
This is the launch I am most excited about. Unlike traditional blushes, the Complexion Face Color is a liquid formula designed to capture emotion. It’s a good mix of of colour, glow, and translucence.
Swatches
I’ve been experimenting with three particular shades that aptly capture the essence of “Oubaitouri”:
- 03 MOMOGOKOCHI: A joyful, fresh peach. It gives the complexion that “just-had-good-news” radiance.
- 05 TOGEICHIGO: A vivid berry red. Don’t be fooled by the bottle; it melts into a genuine, soft-focus flush that gives the impression that you’ve just walked out into the fresh spring air.
- 101 HOREBORE (Limited Edition): A bright, optimistic pink that seems to be made of pure light.

Pro Tip for Application: It has a smooth, very blendable texture. For a “glow-from-within” appearance, I advise applying it on the cheeks prior to powder. Apply it after your powder if you want an editorial dewy finish with high impact.
Eye Artistry: Luminous Textures
Mellow Shine, a new finish for the Mono Look Eyes, is introduced in this collection.
The Texture: A cool, bouncy gel for the lids.
The Result: It offers a dewy look and a contour with nude tones. In addition to being the ideal “one-and-done” shadow, it also functions wonderfully as a radiant base to accentuate your powder shadows.
The Signature Colour Eyes 151 (HANAZAKARI) is a limited-edition masterwork for fans of classic quads. It has four different “blossom” textures and combines Plum Pink and flower Pink:
Top Left (Peach): Gold and pink large pearls.
Top Right (Cherry): Luminous, cool blue translucence.
Bottom Left (Apricot): Deep pink with silver glimmer.
Bottom Right (Plum): Metallic gold with pink pearls.
Lips & Finishing Touches
To fit your mood, SUQQU has revised the lip line with two unique finishes:
- Velvet Fit Lipstick (Shades 11 & 12): These offer a soft, airy matte finish. 11 KOITSUZURI is a gorgeous “flower pink,” while 12 OMOIHIME is a sophisticated warm beige.
- Moisture Glaze Lipstick (Shades 110 & 111 – Limited): These are your “balm” lipsticks. They are rich, glossy, and infused with pearls for a plump, 3D effect.
The Perfect Base: The Liquid Foundation e
To carry these spring colours, you need a canvas that breathes. I’ve been enjoying the SUQQU THE LIQUID FOUNDATION e. This is their most sophisticated formulation to date; years of development have developed a foundation that is even brighter and smoother than the original. It offers coverage that seems to be a continuation of your skincare routine.

Final Thoughts: Finding Your Bloom
This collection is a breath of fresh air because it moves away from the “perfectly masked” look and toward something much more soulful. My absolute standout is the Complexion Face Color in 05 TOGEICHIGO; it creates the most realistic, “pinched-cheek” flush I’ve ever achieved with a liquid formula. If you are a collector, the Signature Color Eyes 151 HANAZAKARI is an essential—the way the cool blue cherry shade interacts with the metallic plum gold is pure artistry. Finally, the Liquid Foundation e is the unsung hero here; it provides the high-tech, luminous canvas that allows these spring shades to truly sing. In a world of comparisons, SUQQU reminds us that there is nothing more radiant than a woman who is quietly, confidently herself.
Until next time, Ashh xo
