Gucci Flora Eau de Parfum (Anniversary Edition)

There is a floral fragrance theme going on my blog lately. I think it is just the weather that I’m drawn towards florals at the moment. Coincidentally, I have also been working on my garden which was neglected for the past few years. I have a variety of flowers like Lilies, Petunias, Begonias, Jasmine, Rose and more. Some of the plants are babies at the moment but I can’t wait for them to bloom next year.

Gucci Flora Eau de Parfum is inspired by Gucci’s iconic Flora pattern. When it comes to Gucci perfume, I also enjoy Bloom range from the brand. I have the Anniversary edition bottle from the Flora range. This edition came out in 2016 while the original Flora came out in 2011.

Packaging: I love the hexagonal shape of the bottle and classic black lid. There is a bow tied to the neck matching to the lid. The outer box has floral print which clearly indicates what to expect from this fragrance.

• Heart notes: Roses, Rare Osmanthus Flower, Peony
• Base notes: Patchouli, Leather, Cedar, Musk

Fragrance Category: Floral/Fruity scent

The core of this fragrance is composed of Rose, Peony and Osmanthus flower, with top notes of Mandarin, Pear and pink pepper, and a base of Leather, Cedar, Musk and Patchouli. This is not a very complex composition but this blend makes the most beautiful, sensual fragrance for the classic, modern Gucci woman who has a youthful, feminine spirit.

Performance: Sillage is lovely but the longevity is moderate so you might need to top it up after a few hours. The fragrance is best suited to wear during the day time for lovely breezy spring time.

Final thoughts: Gucci Flora is a lovely lightweight floral fragrance that is perfect for breezy spring time. It is a beautiful, sensual fragrance for the happy-go-lucky kind of modern woman with youthful, feminine spirit. The fragrance is best suited to wear during the day time.
